The $40,000 Super Truck Challenge presented by gotmudd.com was also a part of World Finals weekend. Dozens of trucks of all kinds entered the grueling contest that would eventually crown a winner on Sunday.

I did not follow all the super truck action because there was just so much of it but it was pretty cool from what I was able to catch. The trucks faced off in Rounds 1 and 2 on Saturday and then had the chance to re-buy back into the event and be able to compete again on Sunday for a shot at the money. Pretty much every driver took that chance to continually buy back in with so much money on the line. I lost track of all the head-to-head action but thankfully Bryan Wagner and Leroy from the Super Truck Challenge forum had it all covered.

The racing got more intense on Sunday as Masters Entertainment showed up to capture all the action for airing on The Sunshine Network. The action was fierce and full of wild moments, but in the end it was Ricky Brantley taking home the big bucks!
